What is expected from the Students

Every student should carry her almanac, identity card and library card to school daily.
Students who come to school on their own, should arrive at school before the start of Check-up period.
As soon as the bell is rung, they should go to the assembly or go to their respective classroom. The students should go in properly and quietly. As soon as the students are in their classes, they should get ready for their lesson.
Changing of classrooms between periods should be done in silence and in an orderly fashion.
Care must be taken of all school property. No student is to damage any school furniture or property or write or draw any thing on the walls. If any furniture is damaged by accident, it should be reported at once to the class teacher / Administrative officer.
No books (other than textbook or library books) Magazines or papers may be brought to school
without Principal’s permission.
Lending or borrowing of money or other articles is not permitted.
The school is not responsible for goods lost. It is advisable not to bring valuables to school. Parents are advised to grant pocket-money judiciously to the students.
Students who go home on their own, or with servants or by their own vehicle, should never leave before their escorts arrive. In case of delay, they should report to the school office. Students should go home straight and be prompt in returning home. They should not loiter on the way. Student are warned not to buy anything, especially eatables from street - vendors.
M.G.D. Girls should observe polite standards wherever they go, they should always remember that the school is judged by their conduct.
The school reserves the right to terminate the studies of students with unsatisfactory progress in studies or whose conduct is a bad precept for others.
Parents, guardians and visitors will not visit their wards or teacher in the classroom without the permission of the Principal.
Students should return their report cards duly signed by their guardians within four days of their receipt. The name, class, section, admission number, house colour of the pupil should be clearly marked on all belongings of the student.
Blazers, coats, jerseys, skirts, blouses, tunics etc. should also bear the name of the student.
School - leaders should wear their respective badges daily.
Students should be clean and neatly dressed. The school uniform is to be worn on all working days & for all school functions unless specified otherwise. Students who are slovenly dressed or not in uniform will be sent home.
Latecomers, uniform defaulters and students who do not do their home work regularly will be sent home.
A Student who uses unfair means during tests will be given zero in the subject and a warning letter. Repetition of the same will result in dismissal.
Students are not allowed to use the school telephone without the permission of the Receptionist.
The students will not be called to answer phone calls during class hours.


THE SCHOOL AIM

The aim of the school is to endeavor to train the girls who will go out into life with the key to culture and the ability to read and to understand, to hear and appreciate and to serve. The School tries to provide an education which is a blend of the best that India, the rest of the East and the West has to offer.

In the words of the Founder of this school - Her Highness Rajmata Gayatri Deviji Sahiba of Jaipur - “The aim of this institution is to make its pupils cultured and useful members of society. They should, when they enter the world, be able to take an active interest in the betterment of their homes and community when they grow up and having the advantage of a sound education, which will enable them to fit themselves usefully into the world of tomorrow”.
