The
school has had a privilege of three distinguished principals,
two of them who are no longer with the institution, Miss Lillian
Godfreda Donnithrone Lutter and Miss S. Doongajee. The contribution
of 3 stalwarts of MGD has been a source of great contribution
and inspiration in shaping the institution in the past. The
present principal Dr.(Mrs.) G.D.Bakshi took over the school
in 1989 and has been an epitome for redefining the education
for girls at M.G.D and she has single handedly taken the school
at a level much higher than the expectations.
