There is
an 8 bedded infirmary and in addition there is an isolation
ward for the girls having contagious diseases. A part time
lady doctor attends the girls. The part time lady doctor comes
in the morning to attend to the boarders. In addition there
are two nurses in the infirmary. The infirmary is well equipped
with all proper facilities. There is a whole time trained
nurse in the infirmary to attend on the resident girls. For
the day scholars there is a separate nurse in the infirmary
to dispense the medicines and to attend on the resident girls.
For the day scholars there is a separate nurse providing necessary
first aid to the students. In case the girls require specialist
medical attention they are referred to the nearby SMS hospital
or any other private nursing home. Regular medical check ups
are also done by the lady doctor.
